Cyryx Labs

Cyryx Labs / Project brief

Tell us what to build.

A clear brief is the fastest way from idea to working software. Describe the problem, the people and the scope, attach anything that helps, and we turn it into a requirements document you approve before any build starts.

About 15 minutes for a complete brief. Skip anything you don't know yet.

Next chapter

Built on how good software teams start.

Problem first, then users, prioritized scope, measurable success and explicit risks.

Why a brief

Most software goes wrong before the first line of code.

Vague scope, unstated assumptions and missing people are what make projects late and expensive. Fifteen minutes here saves weeks later.

Build-ready from the start

Goals, users, prioritized scope and success criteria are what a team needs to estimate and build. The brief asks for exactly that, in plain language.

Nothing gets lost

Every requirement, file and decision stays attached to your project from the first conversation to handover, so nobody has to ask twice.

You stay in control

You review and approve the requirements document before any build starts. What is unclear is listed as an open question, never filled in by assumption.

What happens next

From brief to kickoff, in five clear steps.

  1. 01

    Send the brief

Answer what you know, skip the rest, attach what helps.

  2. 02

    We review it

A person reads it and sends clarifying questions where something is open.

  3. 03

    You get a requirements document

Scope, user stories with acceptance criteria, risks and open questions, for you to review and approve.

  4. 04

    Proposal

Phases, team, estimate and how we will measure success.

  5. 05

    Kickoff

Backlog, sprint zero and a working rhythm with demos you can see.

Your requirements document

What we prepare from your brief, for you to review and approve:

  • 01Overview and problem
  • 02Goals and success metrics
  • 03Users and personas
  • 04Scope by priority (MoSCoW)
  • 05User stories with acceptance criteria
  • 06Functional and quality requirements
  • 07Integrations and data
  • 08AI behaviour and human approval points
  • 09Risks, assumptions and open questions
  • 10Delivery plan by phase
Your brief

Start with what you know.

Step 1 of 8The idea

01 · The idea

What you want built, in your own words.

Answer what you know and skip the rest. Anything missing becomes an open question, not a guess.

A paragraph or two is enough: what you want to build, for whom, and why.

Let the Cyryx assistant draft the next steps from your description. It only fills empty fields and never guesses numbers.

A working title is fine.
What kind of project is it?
How would you like to work with us?

Advise: strategy and architecture. Build: we design and build it. Control: governance and cost control for AI you run. Operate: we run it for you.

Questions

Before you start.

Do I need a technical background?

No. The brief is written for founders, operators and product owners. Answer in your own words; technical questions are optional.

What if I don't know an answer?

Skip it. Anything missing becomes an open question we clarify with you, instead of an assumption someone makes later.

Is my information confidential?

We use your brief and files only to assess and plan your project, as described in our Privacy Policy. We can sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive.

What files can I attach?

PDF, images (PNG, JPEG, WebP), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and CSV. Up to 10 files, 25 MB each. You can also paste screenshots.

How does the AI help?

If you want, the assistant drafts the steps from your description. It only fills empty fields, never guesses numbers, and you review everything before sending.

Can I save and come back later?

Yes. Your answers are saved on this device as you type. Files are not saved until you send the brief.
